System76, the Linux-based computer manufacturer, has just unveiled its new Netbook called Starling, a laptop by now classical dimensions, characterized by specific but more advanced.

The System76 Starling Netbook fact, in addition to a display 10.1-inch WXGA HD Super Clear Ultra Bright LED-backlit 1024 x 600, Intel GMA 3150 graphics card and 2 GB of RAM, has a dual-core Atom N550 to 1.50 GHz

The remaining specifications are configurable: you can choose for example between a hard disk up to 640 GB SSD and up to 160 GB, or between a 3-cell battery and a 6 cell. Ethernet, wi-fi, 3 USB 2.0 ports, VGA, card reader, audio jacks for headphones and microphone complete the equipment of the laptop in terms of connectivity.

Netbook running Ubuntu 4.10 32-Bit Edition, and a simple but elegant desgin, to be chosen in black or red discreetly, the Starling Netbook basic version costs $ 385 (about 280 euro exchange rate).

Dell Inspiron iM501R AMD-Based Laptop Available Now

Dell Inspiron iM501R 15.6-inch laptop laptop is now available. There are two configurations offered by company – The iM501R-1459MRB features the AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P320 2.1GHz processor and integrated graphics, while the iM501R-2272MRB includes the AMD Phenom II Quad-Core P920 1.6GHz CPU and ATI Radeon HD550v 1GB dedicated video card.

Dell brings its mobile workstation Precision M6500 with some new specs. Now it can support up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM, which is achieved using four DIMM slots that pack 8GB modules each.

The other features of Dell Precision M6500 stayed the same: This 17-inch notebook based on the productive Quad Intel Core i7 and Core i7 Extreme, equipped with high-end graphics card ATI FirePro M7740, NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800M or the Quadro FX 3800M. Acer Aspire One D255 Netbook – Specs and Details

Acer Aspire One D255 is the latest netbook with a 10.1-inch display. The netbook uses dual-core processor Atom N550, which Intel plans to release in the current quarter. Clock chip – 1.5 GHz technology supports Hyper-Threading, which is due to concurrent processing of up to four streams of instructions.

The Aspire One D255 has the hard drive capacity up to 250 GB, 1 GB RAM, adapters, wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a webcam and 6-cell battery. LED-backlit display has a native resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels, is responsible for processing graphics integrated video core Intel GMA 3150.
